Step 1: Select the Settings Template to Modify
In Avast for Business, you can set up separate 'settings templates' for use with the devices that are connected. In this way, separate groups of devices can employ different parameters. Step 2: Go to the Customize Firewall Panel

Once you have clicked on the desired settings template, scroll down and click the blue 'Customize' link next to the Firewall switch. This will bring up the Firewall customization panel for this template.
Step 3: Add Networks if Desired
You have the ability to pre-configure networks for the firewall based on the MAC address of the router. Beltone hearing aids reviews. This will allow the Avast for Business client on each endpoint to automatically 'trust' an internal network, for example.
Step 4: Configure System Firewall Rules
Then, click on the 'Rules' master tab. The first highlighted subgroup will be the System firewall rules.

Next, click on the Applications subgroup tab. This allows you to set rules by application, enabling admins to block applications from accessing the Internet entirely, allowing only outbound connections, or even configuring specific packet-based rules.

Step 6: Configure Advanced Packet Based Firewall Rules
Additionally, admins can create specific packet-based rules via this subgroup.
Step 7: Click 'Apply Changes'
When all changes are complete, click 'Apply Changes' at the top of the screen. The bar will turn from yellow to green, and the changes will push out automatically to the endpoints defined in the settings template you chose.
